Alex Odom holds a BFA in Technical Theater and is currently pursuing an MA in Creative Writing at Longwood University, with a concentration in playwrighting. His plays have been produced in the U.S. and Canada, including the Avastama Play Festival and New Acme Winter Works Festival. His plays have been published by One Act Play Depot, his fiction by Boston Literary Magazine, Foundling Review, Six Sentences, and 50 to 1, and his nonfiction in Flashquake. He is the founder and Administrative Director of 0 to 60: Longwood Ten-Minute Play Festival, and the co-founder and prose editor of Picture Postcard Press. He has worked professionally for The New Harmony Theatre, Peach State Summer Theatre, and The Virginia Theater Association.
